Our Ministries
Some of the ministries are "vision-related" & some are already underway. As the vision and ministry grows, the related ones will be implemented! If you don't see something that you may be interested in, please feel free to bring it to our attention... our goal is to have a place for everyone to fit in while walking in their freedoms.
FIT Class
(Freedom Innovation Techniques)
This is where we teach the principles of Freedom & provide Innovative Techniques for life & living through various mediums: Books/Audio/Visual
Our organizational guideline for this is 2 Timothy 3: 16 which says, "Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another—showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way. Through the Word we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us."
True Foundation Concepts
Once you have made a decision to enter into a partnership with The Freedom Center, we want to invite you to make it "official". Come, sit in with us for two, relaxed 60-90 minute sessions that will help you build a foundation and get an understanding of what The Freedom Center, really is. Whether you are a seeker, a starter, or a returner, everyone has to go through "Concepts". We want you to understand our "why", so if you are partnering with us, it can become part of your "why" too!
Our organizational guideline for this is 1 Corinthians 3:11 which simply says, "For no one can lay any foundation other than the one we already have—Jesus Christ."
The Frontline Crew
(Communication & Intercession Team)
This group is for those that take the call to communicate with our Creator seriously or want to know how to communicate more effectively. Those that feel they have a burden and passion to communicate with our Creator. As a member of "The Crew", you will be lead by a leader that will train you in understanding the differences between the different forms of communication & intercession. You will be asked, at times, to lead that communication in different venues. And also, be expected to assemble at various agreed times to talk to the Creator on behalf of the ministry, the leadership, and the world at large.
Our organizational guideline for this is Isaiah 62: 6-7 which tells us: "O Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen on your walls;
they will pray day and night, continually.
Take no rest, all you who pray to the Lord. Give the Lord no rest until he completes his work,
until he makes Jerusalem the pride of the earth."
The "Face" Collaboration
This team is for those that represent the "Face" of the ministry. From the Parking Lot to the Podium. Whether you feel that you are called to help direct people to a parking spot or to a seat in the Center, you represent the organization. In this team, wherever your passion is to help, we can find a place for you. This team is one that is often overlooked and undervalued but here at TFC, we recognize that the "doorkeepers" are the pulse of the organization. They are able to see what is taking place inside and outside of the house.
Our organizational guideline for this is Psalm 84:10 which says, "For a day in your courts is better
than a thousand elsewhere.
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
than dwell in the tents of wickedness."
Training "Free" Children
This will be our children's department. Once we have an adequate amount of children & volunteers that are able to teach & train our children. Our "vision" is to eventually get the older children involved and have them mentoring/teaching the younger children... NOT BABYSITTING, but sharing the Word & a relationship with Jesus from a young person's perspective, all with adult oversight. Besides the fact that the Bible tells us that a child shall lead them, we believe that viewing a relationship with Jesus from an older child's point of view rather than an adult's, will make it a more attainable goal.
Our organizational guideline for this is Isaiah 54:13 which reads "All your children shall be taught by the Lord,
and great shall be the peace of your children."
Two For Communion
"Marriage Ministry"
While this section of the organization is still in the development stages, the goal of it will be to provide couples (engaged & married) a place where both of them can participate individually and as a couple. The idea is that TFC would pair each couple with one of our mature Christian (trained) mentor couples who will help guide them through a "mentorship curriculum" by incorporating thought-provoking questions about biblical truths, each other’s unique personalities, and their life experiences. Additionally, because of their experiences and training, the mentors also can speak experience and the Word of God into the lives and marriage of the couple in question. The ultimate goal is to provide them the necessary tools needed to engage in a STRONG MARRIAGE and equip them with proven relationship-building skills to continually use in growing and to also build a life-long relationship/partnership with another married couple.
Our organizational guideline for this is simply 2 Timothy 2:2 "You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others" Why not learn from people who have lived through it.
